The Civil Registry Office is a structural unit of the Lepel District Executive Committee and is part of the system of the Ministry of Justice.

For general matters concerning its activities, we report to the Lepel District Executive Committee, and for matters relating to the implementation of state policy in the field of justice – to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE CEREMONY MAY BE PERFORMED ON A DAY OFF (BY SEPARATE ORDER).

During the absence of registry office employees on vacation, business trips, training, or due to temporary disability, the working hours, reception of citizens and interested persons for the performance of administrative procedures, preliminary consultations are as follows:

- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

  from 8:00 to 17:00, break from 13:00 to 14:00; 

- Wednesday

  from 11:00 to 20:00, break from 13:00 to 14:00; 

- Saturday

  from 8:00 to 12:00 – reception of citizens, from 12:00 to 13:00 – break,

  from 13:00 to 17:00 – wedding ceremonies; 

- Sunday, Monday – day off.

The following categories of citizens are received out of turn:

• invalids and participants of the Great Patriotic War;

• disabled persons of groups I, II, III.

The Head of the Civil Registry Office, BELSKAYA Elena Konstantinovna, is **responsible** for receiving applications for administrative procedures, preliminary consultations, and receiving citizens and interested persons.

At the request of citizens, solemn registration of marriage and birth can be carried out on any day of the week (including Sunday) and not only in Russian but also in Belarusian.

Furthermore, at the Civil Registry Office or by phone (802132) 3-48-09, you can **book in advance** for your desired marriage registration date, as well as order the issuance of a certificate (to collect the certificate, you will need to visit the Civil Registry Office in person).

We also inform you that the registration of birth, marriage between citizens of the Republic of Belarus, establishment of paternity by joint application of parents with simultaneous registration of birth, and registration of death can be performed by rural executive committees.
