The command of the military unit and the administration of the "Lepel" training ground, in connection with the increased number of violations, address citizens with an official and extremely serious warning.

Access to the territory of the military firing range is strictly prohibited by law. This is a zone of mortal risk, not a place for gathering forest gifts or walking.

Recently, attempts to penetrate the training ground for gathering mushrooms, berries, fallen wood, scrap metal, or, which is unacceptably dangerous, in search of so-called "souvenirs" – shell casings and unexploded ordnance – have been recorded. Such actions are a gross violation of safety regulations and legislation.

The training ground is a zone of mortal danger, not a source of resources.

• Even in periods between exercises, the ground holds an invisible threat. Unexploded shells, mines, and grenades can remain combat-ready for decades. Any mechanical impact – a blow, movement – can cause an instantaneous explosion. The price of such a "find" is a human life.

• During firing exercises, the danger increases manifold. Being in the prohibited zone at this time can highly likely lead to severe, life-incompatible injuries.

Legal responsibility is inevitable.

Unauthorized entry into guarded facilities of the Ministry of Defence entails administrative liability. If the violator's actions cause material damage, disruption of events, or, more seriously, are associated with an attempt to seize ammunition, criminal liability, up to long-term imprisonment, is incurred.

A special appeal to parents and educators!

Dear adults! The safety of children is our common priority. Conduct explanatory talks with teenagers. Explain that the training ground is not a place for games and curiosity. Any suspicious object there is not a "trophy" but a mortal danger. Do not let children go towards the training ground and monitor their whereabouts.

All necessary preventive measures have been taken: the territory is guarded along the perimeter and marked everywhere with warning signs ("Halt, firing!", "Entry forbidden", "Attention! Dangerous zone!").



Your actions in case of discovering a violation or a dangerous object:

1. Immediately leave the dangerous zone.

2. Under no circumstances touch suspicious objects.

3. Immediately report to law enforcement agencies by calling 102.

State security is ensured by the military. Your personal safety and the safety of your loved ones begin with awareness, responsibility, and strict adherence to these rules.
