Another raid to explain fire safety requirements to citizens took place in the town of Lepel.
The close attention of the inspection commission members is focused on socially vulnerable population groups – such as citizens living alone, single individuals, disabled persons, large families, citizens abusing alcohol and leading an anti-social lifestyle.
During the inspection of households, special attention was paid to the condition of heating appliances, gas and electrical equipment, and the presence and operability of autonomous fire alarms.
Residents were instructed on observing fire safety rules in everyday life and were given recommendations on reducing the risk of fires.
The shortcomings, and there were few of them, identified during the raid are correctable and will be eliminated by the homeowners in the shortest possible time. Those who can be assisted will receive help from the territorial center for social services for the population.
