Ded Moroz's granddaughter will appear at the gates of the residence accompanied by Mother Winter and her sisters Viyuga (Blizzard), Stuzha (Frost), and Metelitsa (Snowstorm). The fairytale family will reunite after an almost ten-month separation. According to the tradition established here, the winter characters leave the estate before spring and head to the North Pole. Ded Moroz is not afraid of the sun's rays, and therefore receives guests at his estate all year round. He is assisted in this by Baba Kargota, Vasilisa, Alenka, Yanka, and other summer characters.
The fairytale procession will tour Ded Moroz's domain. Guests of the celebration will be introduced to the estate's attractions, local legends, and beliefs. For example, the owner of the magic apiary will explain how Pushcha honey is produced. The mistress of the magic mill will suggest how to turn bad deeds into dust. Nastya, a hardworking beauty, will be waiting for tourists at the Twelve Months glade. Round dances can be danced around the New Year's tree. Other folk games, fun, and entertainment are planned as part of the holiday program. Buffoons and amateur artists will ensure that visitors do not get bored.
"The meeting of Snegurochka is one of our most popular event tourism activities. People look forward to this holiday and specifically visit Belovezhskaya Pushcha on this day. For example, on December 10, three groups of Lithuanian tourists, over a hundred people, will arrive. They have booked a package of tourist services with a mandatory visit to Ded Moroz's residence," said Oksana Bogaleisha.
This year, the number of tourists in Belovezhskaya Pushcha has increased by almost 20% compared to last year, noted the head of the tourism department. Over ten months, the national park was visited by about 300,000 people, including about 80,000 to the estate of the Belarusian Ded Moroz. It is called the living fairytale of Belovezhskaya Pushcha. The facility was opened on December 16, 2003. Today, it is one of the most famous tourist brands in the country.
