Law enforcement officers of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs conducted a preventive event "Region", during which 12 traffic violations were detected. One of them was driving a vehicle while intoxicated.

One violator has been brought to administrative responsibility, and the vehicle has been placed in a secured parking lot.

Inspectors remind drivers of the unacceptability of driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as of the responsibility in case of detection of such violations.

The State Automobile Inspectorate once again appeals to all road users with a request not to remain indifferent to the problem of drunk driving, to promptly report intoxicated drivers and pedestrians to the "102" hotline in order to ensure their own safety and that of their loved ones.
