On 26.08.2022, officers of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs conducted raid operations in a mixed mode as part of a preventive event aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving vulnerable road users in rural areas, namely, using service vehicles with special markings and civilian-type vehicles. During the event, pedestrians and cyclists were informed about the rules of safe behaviour on the roads and new amendments to the traffic regulations, which will come into legal force on 27 October 2022.
