On September 20, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Traffic police officers prevented the illegal export of rye flour from Belarus worth Br110.6 million, the information and public relations department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed BELTA correspondent. On the Polotsk - Velikiye Luki highway in the village of Krasnopolye, Rossony District, officers of the inter-district traffic police department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for servicing Polotsk, Novopolotsk and Polotsk District detained three heavy trucks driven by residents of Vitebsk and Polotsk. Each truck carried an average of 21 tons of rye flour, which the dealers were trying to export to the Russian Federation. At the same time, there were no documents confirming the passage of phytosanitary control. The Novopolotsk Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee for the Vitebsk Region has drawn up three administrative protocols under Article 12.17, Part 4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. This part of the article entails punishment in the form of a fine imposed on an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity in the amount of thirty to fifty basic units (currently, the basic unit is Br100 thousand) with confiscation of goods, regardless of their ownership, revenue received from the sale of goods, performance of work, provision of services, or without confiscation.
