State Automobile Inspectorate officers are conducting a targeted raid operation to identify and suppress violations of legislation by owners of all-terrain vehicles (quad bikes) and similar vehicles near agricultural lands adjacent to populated areas and recreation sites.

The State Automobile Inspectorate recommends that drivers comply with established rules. Quad bikes, due to their technical characteristics and design features, are not intended for use in road traffic. Their owners should choose locations for travel that do not pose a threat to public safety or cause damage to the environment and agricultural lands.

If violations committed by all-terrain vehicle drivers are detected, measures to ensure criminal and administrative proceedings will be applied in the established manner, including the detention and compulsory towing of the vehicle to a secured parking lot.
