The Ministry of Internal Affairs units constantly monitor the situation among individuals illegally engaged in illegal currency transactions and take measures against offenders in accordance with the law. This was stated today to journalists, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent, by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Anatoly Kuleshov. He was holding a reception for citizens on personal matters in Polotsk. According to Anatoly Kuleshov, police officers daily identify several instances of illegal currency transactions and detain so-called currency speculators. Significant amounts of money are seized, including euros, dollars, and Russian rubles. The Ministry of Internal Affairs controls the processes among illegal currency speculators and takes specific measures against violators of the current legislation, the minister emphasized. During the reception of citizens, Anatoly Kuleshov received proposals to improve the legislation regulating arms trafficking.
