Employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations participated in a raid on the agro-industrial complex facilities of SPF "Zoazerye" of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant" during the harvest period, in conjunction with a representative of the District Prosecutor's Office and the Head of the Department of Social and Labor Relations of the Department of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Lepel District Executive Committee.

During the preventive work, special attention was paid to the availability and operability of primary fire extinguishing means on agricultural machinery involved in the harvest, knowledge of priority actions in case of fire, skills in using primary fire extinguishing means, as well as emergency service call numbers.

Additional discussions were held with the enterprise employees involved in the harvest regarding the necessity of observing fire safety rules and preventing actions that could lead to a fire.
