Resolution of the Council of Ministers of November 17, 2021, No. 667 sets out a revised set of measures for the implementation of the Development Programme for the Orsha District until 2023.

The set of measures provides for activities to create conditions for population income growth and ensure a comfortable life through:

  • more effective use of the industrial, agrarian, transport and logistics, tourism, and natural resource potential of the Orsha District;
  • increasing goods exports;
  • intensifying entrepreneurial and investment initiatives.

The complex includes goals, objectives, goal achievement indicators, and performance indicators for task implementation, as well as measures in areas such as industry, the agro-industrial complex and forestry, transport, smart city, housing and communal services, healthcare, education, tourism, employment, etc.

"The implementation of the measures within the complex will contribute to the restoration and enhancement of the economic potential of the Orsha District, the growth of citizens' incomes and the improvement of their quality of life, the creation of a comfortable and safe environment, as well as a reduction in the subsidisation of the local budget," the document states.

The resolution comes into force upon its official publication.
