By Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 580 of August 3, 2017, the list of state programmes for 2016-2020 has been refined, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian government.
In particular, the State Programme for the Development of the Machine-Building Complex of Belarus for 2017-2020 has been supplemented. The development of a new edition of the State Programme for the Development and Maintenance of Roads in Belarus with a implementation period of 2017-2020, consisting of two sub-programmes, is envisaged.
Some state programmes have also been supplemented with new sub-programmes. The "Environmental Protection and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for 2016-2020" has been supplemented with the sub-programme "Ensuring the Functioning of the Environmental Protection Management System in the Republic of Belarus and the Implementation of Measures for the Rational (Sustainable) Use of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection at the Regional Level". The State Programme for the Development of the Digital Economy and Information Society for 2016-2020 includes the sub-programmes "Information and Communication Infrastructure", "Informatisation Infrastructure", and "Digital Transformation".
The structure of the State Programme for the Development of Agricultural Business in Belarus has been brought into compliance with the requirements of Decree No. 289 of July 25, 2016. Measures implemented under this programme that are not included in other sub-programmes have been incorporated into the sub-programme "Ensuring General Conditions for the Functioning of the Agro-Industrial Complex".
The sub-programme "Integration of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant into the Energy System of the Republic of Belarus" has been excluded from the State Programme "High-Tech Technologies and Equipment" for 2016-2020.
