Many graduates of the judo section have dedicated their lives to sports, become masters of sport of international class, and have repeatedly taken prize-winning places at European and World championships.

Lepel region is proud of the victories of Stepan Popov, a master of sport of international class in Sambo and a master of sport in Judo. Stepan is a silver and bronze medallist of European championships, and a silver medallist of the World championship. Our district is also proud of the names of titled athletes Maxim Dzhamilashvili, Ekaterina Filinovich, and others.
A worthy new generation is growing up under the guidance of renowned athletes. Today's trainees of the judo section are taking prize-winning places at regional and national competitions, thereby enhancing their combat skills.
At the national championship among boys and girls born in 1998-99, which took place in Babruisk, our judokas demonstrated a high level of training. In the weight category up to 55 kilograms, Dmitry Gruk took first place, Anna Gonchar also became a leader in the weight category up to 44 kilograms, and Artem Glushonok was third in the weight category up to 46 kilograms.
