Olympic Reserve School
209 boys and girls are enrolled at the Lepel Specialised Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve for Handball. Schoolchildren aged nine and above are accepted for training. If they demonstrate appropriate abilities, good physical fitness, and a strong personal desire, pupils have the opportunity to attend this sports-oriented educational institution until they complete secondary school.
Winners of the Relay Race
The VII Regional Summer Sports Games for teams of road organisations, which are structural divisions of RUP "Vitebskavtodor", took place in Polotsk. Athletes from DEU-37 confidently won the athletics relay race.
First Place in the Tournament
The VIII Republican Boxing Tournament in honour of Master of Sport Aliaksandr Kanavalau was held in the town of Vetka, Gomel Region. National teams from Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk, Gomel regions, and the city of Minsk participated. Lepel resident Aleh Kandratovich, who is honing his sporting skills at the Vitebsk SDYUSSHOR "Sport-Alliance" of Trade Unions, competed for victory in the tournament in the weight category up to 60 kilograms. Aleh fought three intense bouts in the ring and took first place. Aleh Kandratovich was awarded an Honorary Diploma, a medal, and a valuable gift.
