In October, the committee put 120 real estate properties up for auction. Among them are also objects of historical and cultural value.
Thus, the former distillery, located in the agro-town of Plamya, Senno District, is offered for sale at auction for a base rate.
The distillery buildings are part of the "Staraya Belitsa" estate complex, built in the early 19th century. In the 17th-18th centuries, the estate belonged to the Sapieha family, and later to the Svyatski family.
Under their ownership, the Belitsa estate was one of the wealthiest manor houses in Belarusian lands. Here, alcohol was purified, flour was milled, groats were hulled, and cheese and butter were produced using the most modern technologies, which were sold throughout the Russian Empire.
The estate was also a cultural center. An amateur theater was created here. Many people, including students, writers, and artists, vacationed in Belitsa. At one time, the future classic of Belarusian literature, Yanka Kupala, served here.
In Soviet times, a agricultural college was located here, followed by a state farm. The winery, brick factory, and dairy plant continued to operate.
The starting price for the sale of the distillery complex is 200 Belarusian rubles – one base rate for each capital structure.
On the allocated land plots with an area of more than 1 hectare, it is possible to place objects of administrative, social, and cultural significance, and to use them for entrepreneurial activities.
In total, over 9 months of this year, the committee conducted 91 successful auctions for the sale of unused state property. The state budget was replenished by 5,698,792 Belarusian rubles.
