The Belarusian state has been established, possesses political weight and significant economic potential. This was stated today by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in an interview with political commentators from Belarus and abroad, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"Any colour revolution makes a state weaker and its people poorer. Nowhere have people started living better after these riots. The main remedy for this scourge is also known – it is the expansion and deepening of our ties, integration. In all formats: bilateral, EAEU, CIS, CSTO. Primarily in the areas of economy, security, and human interaction," said Alexander Lukashenko.
According to him, in the post-Soviet space, many countries have "come to their senses and realised that in alternative integration projects, we are assigned the role of raw material donors, cheap labour, and a market for secondary goods."
The Head of State emphasised that only coordinated strategic planning, the real development of production cooperation, and mutual support will help the countries of the post-Soviet space to cope with global problems relatively painlessly and withstand threats to sovereignty, peace, and stability.
"We simply need to unite and act as a united front on the international stage. Only then can our peoples preserve the opportunity to decide their own destiny," the President concluded.
