The city stadium is now enclosed by a modern green fence. The work is 90 percent complete. Football and sports enthusiasts will now be able to comfortably watch games and various competitions as the seating has been completely replaced. Furthermore, similar to the major stadiums in the country, the sectors will become multi-coloured – green, blue, and yellow. A VIP area will be established near the changing rooms closest to the sports complex, where plastic seats will be installed. The changing room itself has also been significantly modernised: an extension has been built, plastic windows and doors have replaced the worn-out wooden ones, heating has been installed, the roof has been covered with red ondulin, and the walls have been repainted in a light green colour. The changing room on the opposite side has been painted similarly. A plastic canopy will be installed above the viewing platform for the refereeing panel. Previously, in case of rain, referees would take umbrellas to score and fill out competition protocols under them.

The path on the library side will become a pedestrian walkway, and entry will only be permitted from Voykova Street, where an illuminated car park will be equipped behind the black wrought-iron gates. The parking space has already been demarcated with a curb and a dividing net to protect against balls. Entry from Voykova was always possible, but it has now become much more comfortable as the road has been widened and levelled.

The construction crew has been working since July, with 400 million rubles invested, and approximately another 200 million rubles are yet to be allocated.
