The average monthly wage in the budget sector of Belarus will increase by 35% in 2011 compared to 2010, as reported today at an expanded meeting of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Budget, Finance and Tax Policy by the Minister of Finance of Belarus Andrei Kharkovets, BELTA correspondent reports. According to the minister, the budget expenditures for the next year are formed taking into account one of the main priorities - the growth of incomes of the population employed in the budget sector. "The allocated funds guarantee an increase in the average monthly wage by 35% compared to the current year," stated Andrei Kharkovets. Among other priorities outlined by the minister are active support for state programs and innovative development of economic sectors, saving budget resources, and fulfilling international obligations for public debt repayment. "In 2011, we are returning to pre-crisis development rates for the budget sector," emphasized Andrei Kharkovets. -0-
