The average old-age pension in December 2015 was Br2 million 839.4 thousand, which is 6.1% higher than the level of December 2014. The average old-age pension was Br2 million 897.9 thousand, the minimum old-age pension (including supplements) was Br2 million 85.4 thousand. The average disability pension was Br2 million 573.9 thousand, survivor's pension was Br1 million 871.1 thousand, long-service pension was Br3 million 761 thousand, and special merit pension was Br4 million 263.1 thousand.
The average social pension in December 2015 was Br1 million 408.8 thousand, which is 10.8% higher compared to December 2014.
Regarding the calculation indicators for December, the maximum old-age pension for non-working pensioners (with a service record of 40 years for women and 45 years for men and an individual earnings coefficient of 4.0 or higher) was Br4 million 384 thousand 260. The maximum old-age pension for non-working pensioners among former miners with at least 10 years of underground work for men and 7.5 years for women was Br5 million 586 thousand 40, with at least 25 years of work in certain types of underground and open-pit mining for men and 20 years for women - Br6 million 787 thousand 810. The maximum old-age pension for working pensioners (with an individual earnings coefficient of 1.3 or higher) was Br3 million 182 thousand 480.
The minimum old-age pension in December was Br392 thousand 283 (this standard is used for calculating supplements to pensions and pension increases, and equals 25% of the subsistence minimum budget per capita).
Currently, almost 2 million 593 thousand pensioners are registered with the labour, employment and social protection authorities.
