The real wage (wage calculated taking into account the growth of consumer prices for goods and services) in January-April 2015 decreased by 3.2% compared to January-April 2014, and in April compared to March 2015, it decreased by 0.1%.

In April of this year, the average wage in industry was Br6,839.8 thousand, in construction - Br7,523.4 thousand, in transport and communications - Br7,518.3 thousand, in agriculture and forestry - Br4,902.7 thousand, in education - Br4,828.2 thousand, including teachers - Br5,827.1 thousand, and teaching staff - Br7,798.8 thousand. The wage of healthcare workers in April averaged Br5,507.8 thousand. The average wage for doctors was Br8,983.9 thousand, and for mid-level medical personnel - Br5,501.4 thousand.
