In January-June of the current year, the nominal accrued average monthly salary in Belarus amounted to Br1104.1 thousand, the National Statistical Committee informed BELTA correspondent. In June, the average wage was Br1234.9 thousand, which is 6.6%, or Br76.6 thousand, higher compared to May 2010. Real wages (calculated taking into account the growth of consumer prices for goods and services) in Belarus in January-June of this year increased by 8.1% compared to January-June 2009. In June, this indicator grew by 6.4% compared to May 2010. According to operational statistical data, the average salary in industrial enterprises of the republic in June was Br1352.9 thousand. In construction organizations, it was Br1686 thousand, in transport enterprises - Br1486.3 thousand, in trade and public catering - Br1046.6 thousand, in agricultural organizations - Br831.6 thousand. In healthcare organizations, the average salary in June was Br990.4 thousand, including for doctors - Br1696.7 thousand, and for secondary medical personnel - Br984.3 thousand. The average June wage in educational institutions was Br874.1 thousand, including for teachers - Br965.5 thousand, and for the professorial and teaching staff - Br2157.1 thousand. Among the economic sectors, the highest level of remuneration in June of this year was recorded in the fuel industry (Br2045.2 thousand), ferrous metallurgy (Br1987.5 thousand), and the chemical and petrochemical industry (Br1879.6 thousand). The lowest salary continues to be in social security (Br742.9 thousand). The maximum growth in real accrued wages in January-June of the current year compared to the level of January-June 2009 was achieved in the medical industry (118.3%), forestry (116.5%), chemical and petrochemical industry (116%), light industry (114.7%), and in organizations of science and scientific services (114.6%).
