An incomparable anticipation of the holiday begins.

The first signs of the approaching miracle are sent to us by trade, public catering, and household service facilities. Their facades and shop windows are transformed, merchandise displays change, and the assortment increasingly includes New Year-themed goods. This will become noticeable starting from the upcoming weekend. Sales at reduced prices, promotional campaigns with discounts on goods and services, as well as exhibition-sales are being held – you just have to keep track.

An order on ensuring the organization and holding of such events by trade, public catering, and household service organizers has been issued by the city executive committee.

According to it, from December 12 to January 7, city fairs for the sale of non-food and food products with the participation of agricultural producers, industrial, trade, and public catering organizations will be held weekly on weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Proletarskaya Square.

From December 19, Christmas tree markets will be organized at 16 locations in the city. Traditionally, they will be located at Polotsky, Smolensky, Yuzhny markets; Proletarskaya Square; near the shopping centers "GREEN", "HIPPO", "Trio", "Evroopt" (Moskovsky Avenue, 45/1 and 130); near the "Vesta" store on Pobedy Avenue; near "Dobronom" at Pravdy Street, 64a; near "Vitebskiye Produkty" on Smolenskaya; at the intersection of Frunze Avenue and Smolenskaya Street; on Mira Street, 44, Titova Street, 113, and Chkalova Street near the "Yug-7" stop.
