Be more visible on the road!

The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region reminds pedestrians of the need to ensure their safety with reflective elements, which increase visibility on unlit roads and reduce the risk of road traffic accidents involving them.

For example, if a car's low beam headlights are on, a driver will see an ordinary pedestrian from a distance of 30 meters, while the use of a reflector increases this distance to 150 meters.

We advise placing reflectors on outerwear, footwear, hats, as well as on backpacks and bags.

We remind you that pedestrians should only walk on sidewalks and pedestrian paths, and cross the roadway at pedestrian crossings.

Remember that even if the "green" light is on, you should not immediately cross the road; you must look left and right, thereby ensuring that drivers see you and let you pass.
