The industrial and educational potential of the Vitebsk region is represented by 13 enterprises and organizations of the region at the INNOPROM international exhibition, which opened today in Yekaterinburg.


The industrial forum is the main trade and export platform in Russia. This year, Belarus is acting as the partner country of INNOPROM. The delegation of the region is headed by Veronika Zabolueva, Chairperson of the Committee for Economy of the Regional Executive Committee. As part of the official opening of the Belarusian national pavilion on July 11, it is planned to sign an agreement on the implementation of international and foreign economic relations in the industrial sector between the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Chechen Republic and the Regional Executive Committee.

As reported by the Committee for Economy of the Regional Executive Committee, most of the Vitebsk participants of the forum will work at the collective stands of ministries and republican concerns. For example, at the stand of the Ministry of Industry, OJSC Stankozavod "Krasny Borets" will present its new development, a CNC grinding center model OShTs-50. Within the exposition of the concern "Belneftekhim", products of OJSC "Naftan" and "Polotsk-Steкловолокно" will be presented. The concern "Belleghprom" will introduce visitors to the exhibition to the products of the domestic light industry, including the Orsha Linen Mill and OJSC "Svitanak". Their products will also be available for purchase at the "From the Heart" fair of Belarusian goods, organized as part of the exhibition.

The footwear holding "Belvest" will be represented at INNOPROM by one of its most advanced participants – LLC "LATSIT – Laboratory of Digital Technologies". The IT developer has brought a mobile robot equipped with software to the main industrial platform of Russia, which allows automating various tasks at the enterprise, including loading and unloading operations, kitting, and other production processes.
