Pensioners are one of the most important population categories that are under the close attention of the MES. To involve them in safety issues, rescuers use various forms of work, trying to reach every elderly person and engage them in the large-scale republican campaign "With Care for the Safety of the Small Motherland". The goal of the campaign is to prevent fires due to careless handling of fire and the death of elderly people in them. The campaign will be held in two stages: the first - from August 1 to August 18, and the second - from September 18 to October 2. Within these stages, many useful and interesting activities are planned. And, of course, meetings with rural residents, where rescuers will once again remind them of safety rules and emphasize the causes of emergencies.
Special MES transport will also broadcast information about traffic safety, travelling through rural settlements to transmit short preventive texts to the population via a loudspeaker. In addition, rescuers will work along the routes of mobile shops through the "Safety Mobile Shop" project, where interactive platforms will be set up at the stops of mobile shops, and master classes on first aid will be conducted. Thus, residents of even the most remote corners will not be left out and will be able to participate in events organised by rescuers.
In rural settlements, thematic "Safety Fairs" will be held on open grounds, where rescuers have prepared many "activation zones": "Pump it up - don't let it down", "Fire Shield", "Home Violations", "How a Fire Extinguisher Works", "Bugs and Spiders", "Stoves and Benches", "Safe Electrician", and many others.
This is just a small list of the events that rescuers will conduct with elderly citizens within the framework of the "With Care for the Safety of the Small Motherland" campaign.
The campaign will conclude on October 2 with large-scale events that will take place throughout the republic as part of the International Day of Older Persons.
