The annual republican campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" is launching.

During the summer holidays, the preventive campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire" will be held in the Lepel district, as well as in all regional and district centers. It will take place in school-based and summer health camps, as well as in preschool educational institutions.

Summer holidays are a happy and most anticipated time for all schoolchildren. However, it is during this period that the number of fires and other emergencies involving minors increases. Children are often left unsupervised, and therefore, to organize leisure activities for children in the Lepel region, school and summer camps begin their work, where employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be frequent guests.

The main goal of the rescuers is to prevent emergencies caused by children's carelessness with fire, as well as the death of children in water bodies. Thematic visual materials will appear on information boards on the territory of the camps, as well as in preschool educational institutions. Preventive conversations will be held by Ministry of Emergency Situations employees with children, thematic and educational films, cartoons will be demonstrated, quizzes on life safety, competition programs, quest games, presentations of the magazine "Young Rescuer", and excursions to fire and rescue stations will be conducted. Educational visual materials will be distributed among minors. Employees and duty personnel will undergo training on fire safety rules. During the campaign, a competition for the best selfie with Ministry of Emergency Situations attributes will also be held.
