The republican campaign "Do not leave children alone!" is launching

The statistics on child injuries are deeply concerning for any adult: over 100 children die annually from external causes. Poisoning, road traffic accidents, swallowing foreign objects, falls from windows, and fires are just a fraction of the situations that can lead to tragedy.

This primarily occurs due to adults ignoring a fundamental truth – never leave a child unsupervised. Therefore, by relying on luck each time, parents inadvertently play a lottery, from which not everyone emerges a winner…

To draw attention to the dangers of children playing with fire and child fatalities in fires, to reduce the number of emergencies involving children, and to ensure their overall safety (at home, outdoors, during recreation, near water bodies, etc.), the republican campaign "Do Not Leave Children Alone!" will take place from May 10th to June 1st. This campaign is timed to coincide with International Family Day and Children's Day. As part of this initiative, Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) employees will present parents with 1001 reasons why children should not be left alone at home and will explain how to avoid becoming victims of their own mistakes.

The events will be held in two stages. As part of the first stage, an extensive program awaits visitors at shopping and entertainment centers, cinemas, and other public places where parents spend time with their children. Interactive zones will be set up with competitions, quizzes, and games, where participants will receive souvenir, educational, and visual materials.

A family is the foundation for any undertaking. It is within the family that the fundamentals are laid, including the culture of life safety. Since the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) propagandists also have a "reliable rear" and know better than anyone how important it is to remember safety, on the eve of the International Day of Families (May 15), they will personally present their view on family values by preparing thematic video clips or music videos.

Events of the second stage will take place from May 23 to June 1. The focus of the propagandists will be on future and young parents. Traditionally, emphasis will be placed on mothers, as they spend most of their time with children. For example, in the interactive session "Chief Expert", they will turn into experts for 30 minutes and identify and mark places that pose a danger to preschoolers. In "Believe – Don't Believe", mothers will demonstrate their knowledge in the field of safety, confirming or refuting

statements made by propaganda inspectors.

Final events will take place on open grounds in amusement and recreation parks, near culture palaces, cinemas, shopping and entertainment centers, etc. – everywhere parents with children most often visit – propagandists will hold vibrant and large-scale events.
