21 December, Minsk /Anna Kot - BELTA/. The rates of personal income tax on income of individuals from renting out residential premises will be increased in Belarus from January 1, 2013. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Minister of Taxes and Duties Vladimir Poluyan. "Thus, in accordance with the amendments made to the Tax Code of Belarus, the maximum limits of rates will be increased by 22% from January 1, 2013," the minister noted. At the same time, the Tax Code provides only the upper and lower limits of tax rates, and the specific amount of such rates for 2013 will be established by the regional and Minsk City Councils of Deputies, depending on the category of the settlement where the rented premises are located, explained Vladimir Poluyan. -0-
