The Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a decree on the awarding of scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2022 to 70 postgraduate students conducting dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities. The Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a decree on the awarding of scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2022 to 70 postgraduate students conducting dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader. 

The results of the work of the postgraduate students awarded scholarships are used in the practical activities of industrial, medical, agricultural, and educational organisations, have been presented at republican and international conferences, and published in scientific journals. 

Among the scholarship holders are representatives of technical, physical and mathematical, biological, chemical, medical, economic, agricultural, humanitarian sciences, and sports, who are conducting research in educational institutions, scientific and scientific-practical organisations. 

The President's decree on awarding scholarships is aimed at supporting the creative activity of young talented postgraduate students, attracting gifted youth to science, developing domestic scientific schools, and stimulating the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.
