procedure for commissioning construction facilities" (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 253) entered into force.
This regulatory legal act enables citizens to register the real estate facilities they have erected by a decision of the local executive and administrative body without the construction permit documentation.
Decree No. 253 applies to construction facilities erected (reconstructed) by citizens on land plots, the rights to which arose before 1 September 2022, and intended for the construction and (or) maintenance of single-family residential houses.
In 2023, 2467 sq. metres of housing were commissioned in the Lepel district; during the current period of 2024, 785.8 sq. metres of housing have been commissioned.
Decree No. 253 is of a temporary nature and is valid until 1 January 2025.
During the period of the construction amnesty, administrative liability measures will not be applied to citizens who have erected a residential house or ancillary buildings without permit and design documentation.
