Once again, representatives and volunteers of the International Charitable Public Association "EcoBuilder" and the public organization "Homes Instead of Chernobyl" are carrying out construction work on a social facility in Lepel – a family-type children's home.

12 volunteers from Belarus, aged 18 to 23, from Belarusian State University, Belarusian National Technical University, Minsk State Linguistic University, and Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College are not only working but also exchanging experiences and communicating.

The guests were welcomed by Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee:

  - Your desire to help and participate in construction is not only a manifestation of civic engagement but also a true act of kindness and mutual support. You are role models, and your active stance serves as an incentive for others. May every day of work bring you joy and satisfaction!

In 2 weeks, the volunteers will complete the reconstruction of the family-type children's home on Lobanka Street: a second floor with a 31 sq. m. living room, a bathroom, and a staircase will be added. The total area of the house will increase by 62 sq. m. The house's cladding is also being dismantled, after which it will be insulated with eco-material – reed.

After their work in the Lepel region, the volunteers will head to a construction site of a social purpose facility in Germany.

Educational excursion programs have been prepared for the volunteers in Lepel, and on weekends, they will visit a reed production facility in Myadel District, learn about renewable energy sources and modern treatment facilities. They will also visit the Khatyn memorial complex.
