VSMU student Olga Maslak will represent the Vitebsk region in the final of the republican competition "Student of the Year," the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Olga Maslak is a 3rd-year student of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Vitebsk State Medical University. She is the group leader, a member of the NGO "BRSM," and a member of the University Council. The young woman's sports interests are quite extensive: she is interested in slacklining, cycling, volleyball, billiards, attends the table tennis club at the university, and is a multiple prize-winner of sports climbing competitions in Minsk, Mogilev, and Vitebsk. "In the final of the regional round, the VSMU representative proved to be a bright, versatile personality, and her performance in the debates simply captivated the jury members. It was a convincing victory," the committee emphasized. The organizers of the regional stage of the competition were the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the NGO "BRSM," the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, the Vitebsk State Medical University, the Vitebsk State Technological University, the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Polotsk State University, and the primary organizations of the NGO BRSM of these universities. -0-
