29 May, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov and the Oxford Magna Carta College have signed a bilateral cooperation agreement, BELTA was informed at VSU. VSU and the college will cooperate on two parallel learning programs: a bachelor's degree program and master's programs. The curriculum includes distance learning sessions and in-person lectures by English professors, which will be held at the Vitebsk university. Thus, 3rd-5th year students will have the opportunity to study remotely at one of the most renowned universities in the UK, and by the time they graduate from the Belarusian educational institution, they will also receive a master's degree diploma of the English standard. The Vitebsk university became the second in Belarus to sign a cooperation agreement with the Oxford college. Previously, such an agreement was signed with Baranovichi State University. Magna Carta College is a private higher education institution located in Oxford. Student training is conducted through distance learning programs of the University of Wales, which is among the TOP-15 universities in the UK. The college has a special status of the UK Border Agency, which gives it the right to admit foreign students on a special student visa - Tier 4, and has the highest trust status - Highly Trusted Sponsor.-0-
