9 January, Minsk /BelTA Correspondent. The National Statistical Committee of Belarus is transitioning to an electronic format for statistical reporting by small businesses. This was announced to BelTA correspondent by the press secretary of Belstat, Elena Kondratenko. For the first time in statistical practice, entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to submit state statistical reports in the relevant forms electronically via the Internet. This way, small and micro-enterprises can submit their reports on financial and economic activities. In Belarus, over 80,000 small and micro-enterprises annually submit reports in the relevant forms to state statistics bodies. Previously, they submitted documents on paper, but now this can be done electronically. The transition to an electronic format for submitting statistical reports is a priority task for state statistics bodies, Belstat noted. -0-
