Creative approaches to locating debtors continue to be implemented in the economic court of the Vitebsk region, the court's press secretary Natalya Goncharova told a BELTA correspondent. Unfortunately, some debtors ignore repeated summons to the bailiff, do not answer calls, and do not respond to SMS messages about debt recovery. Such a case was found in the economic court of the region: the director of an advertising agency had no intention of paying his debt. The bailiff began searching for the debtor on social networks. And he found him on one of the most popular ones. On his page, the director posted all his contact details, as well as a link to the website of advertising applications he created on social networks. Under the pretext of ordering advertising services, the bailiff contacted the debtor and arranged a meeting. The advertiser was greatly surprised when the supposed client suggested that he immediately proceed to the economic court, to the bailiff's office, to provide an explanation on the case. The bailiff seized the debtor's property - an iPhone 4 smartphone. This was enough to pay off the debt under the enforcement proceedings.-0-
