The final round of the regional competition "Songs of Our Fathers' Youth" has concluded, traditionally held at the Orsha House of Culture of Railway Workers. Among the 24 young performers, our fellow countrymen also competed for victory – Elena Karpitskaya, a 10th-grade student of Gymnasium named after I. M. Erashov, and Dmitry Klimansky, head of the boiler and heating networks section of KUPP "Borovka". Before reaching the final, the participants won the district stage and were among the top ten out of 50 people in the zonal tour in Beshenkovichi. Each participant performed two songs – a hit and a song of civil-patriotic theme. Dmitry won in the "Super Hit" nomination, and Elena won in the "Creative Debut" nomination.
