23 November, Lepel /Own correspondent/. During the autumn days, Belarusian writers Anatol Zekau, Valery Skakun, and Lyudmila Nesterovich, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Bibliyateka Pradpoe” (Library Offers), visited Secondary School No. 1 in Lepel. The pupils and teachers of the school were convinced that Anatol Zekau could captivate an audience. He told fairy tales and read poems, invited them to recite tongue twisters and guess riddles. For correct answers, the writer presented gifts from the magazine “Viasiolka” (Rainbow), where he works. Anatol read poems about love, humorous works, and parodies of Belarusian poets.
Valery Skakun, a native of Lepel region, writer and singer, introduced his song-writing. As a memento of the meeting, the school library received gifts of books: “Kakhannie na snezhe” (Love in the Snow) by Anatol Zekau and “Nabytyk” (Acquisition) by Valery Skakun, with the authors' autographs. Lyudmila Vasilyevna Nesterovich, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Bibliyateka Pradpoe” (Library Offers), presented the library with two books: “Antolohiya fantastichnaj navely” (Anthology of Fantastic Novellas) and several issues of the magazine “Bibliyateka Pradpoe” (Library Offers).
