September 9, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Information disseminated by some internet sources, claiming that a certain market exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble was allegedly set on September 8 during training trades, does not correspond to reality. This was stated to a BELTA correspondent by the Information Department of the National Bank. The National Bank emphasized that during the training trades, "the task was not to determine the exchange rate"; moreover, during the trial additional session, "no real transactions were carried out or planned to be carried out." The saddest part is that in their desire to lend some credibility to their fantasies, the authors of the publications went too far. Citing some insiders, they provided such details of what happened at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange that were not even close to reality, the National Bank stated. -0-
