Furthermore, this year the design and estimate documentation for the Miory Central District Hospital has been adjusted and its construction resumed. Its commissioning is scheduled for 2013. "This is also a 25-year unfinished construction project. When we took it on, half of the hospital had to be dismantled due to the threat of collapse. Now, construction work on this facility is being carried out intensively, and it is planned to be commissioned by the 'Slavianski Bazaar' festival," noted the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. He also added that a significant volume of investments in the development of healthcare facilities in the Vitebsk region will be directed in 2013 as well.
The implementation of these projects is being carried out within the framework of the "Health" sub-programme of the Regional Programme for Innovative and Investment Development of the Vitebsk Region, which is aimed at strengthening public health. -0-
