From April 9 to 10, the Vitebsk region hosted the "White Rook" regional chess competition, which was attended by 12 teams of young chess players born in 2011 and younger. The Lepel district was worthily represented by a team from Secondary School No. 3, and one of the key victories was brought by Taisiia Mostovnikova, an 8B grade student, who took 2nd place in the individual standings.

Taisiia studies chess at the Center for Children's Creativity under the guidance of coach Viktor Nikolaevich Radko, but her talents are not limited to the chessboard. The girl is keen on volleyball, skiing, and athletics, demonstrating versatile sports abilities. In addition, she successfully competes in mathematics Olympiads.

Congratulations to Taisiia on her brilliant victory and we wish her new achievements in her studies, sports, and chess!
