On May 30, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Belarus needs capable and energetic people. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on May 30, when meeting with students, university students and representatives of talented youth. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Belarusian leader. According to the head of state, talented people are the driving force of world history. "The Belarusian land is rich in glorious names. Their heritage - unique architectural monuments, masterpieces of scientific thought, literature and art - are our spiritual support and a source of national pride," noted the President of Belarus. "Today, our country needs capable and energetic people. Grand plans can only be realized by those who generate new ideas and bring them to life. Supporting talent is an investment in the future." As Alexander Lukashenko noted, every child has their own innate talent, and it is important to see and support it in time. "It is precisely for this reason that an effective system of work has been created in Belarus, which allows for the full disclosure and development of the abilities of children and young people. Any talent can count on targeted, purposeful support and attention from the state," emphasized the President of Belarus. The head of state noted that dozens of Olympiads, festivals and competitions provide ample opportunities to prove oneself. This year, two more television projects have been added to them - "Children of the New Generation" and "I Sing!", which have revealed bright names that the country can rightly be proud of. With the support of the state, a worthy scientific and creative generation is growing in the country, which honorably represents the country abroad. The best confirmation of this is the 26 high-caliber awards won last year by Belarusian schoolchildren at international Olympiads. The performances of representatives of Belarus at the Youth Delphic Games, the Sobinov Music Festival, the "New Wave Junior" competition and other prestigious creative competitions were also successful. "The country provides all of you with unique starting opportunities. Make good use of them for your own benefit and for your Fatherland. May your medals and prizes bring real benefit to Belarus over time," Alexander Lukashenko wished the event participants.
