17 February, Gomel /Valeriy Sidorchik - BELTA/. The first-category tariff rate for remuneration of employees of Belarusian budget organisations will be increased in the second half of 2011. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent today in Gomel by Vladislav Tatarinovich, Deputy Minister of Finance of Belarus. He participated in a meeting with the work collective of SOAO "Gomelkabel". According to the interviewee, this issue is planned to be discussed in the middle of the year. The Deputy Minister noted that within the year, citizens' real incomes, according to the set task, should increase by 8-10%. This applies to both the wages of employees of self-supporting enterprises and employees of the budget sector, as well as pensions and benefits. In particular, the average monthly pension in 2011 is planned to be increased by 17% to Br607 thousand, and monthly scholarships for students - from the current Br151 thousand to Br203 thousand. "Considering that inflation for 2011 is planned at no more than 8%, this is a real increase in income," emphasised Vladislav Tatarinovich. In Belarus, on 1 November 2010, the first-category tariff rate for remuneration of employees of budget organisations and other organisations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in remuneration to employees of budget organisations, was increased by almost 30% and currently stands at Br118 thousand.-0-
