29 January, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. The first-category tariff rate for remuneration of employees of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in remuneration to employees of budget organizations, will be increased in Belarus from January 1, 2013, to Br240 thousand. This decision is contained in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of December 28, 2012, No. 1230, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the press service of the Belarusian government. The government resolution has been adopted with the aim of further increasing the remuneration level of employees of budget organizations, the purchasing power of their wages, as well as partially restoring differentiation in the remuneration of public sector employees. This will allow for an average increase in wages in the public sector by 6.7%. In addition, Resolution No. 1230 establishes corrective coefficients to the tariff rates (salaries) of employees of budget organizations, calculated according to the Unified Tariff Grid of Employees of the Republic of Belarus (ETS) and classified by categories 1-27, in the amounts of 3.50-1.00, which will lead to increased differentiation in the remuneration of public sector employees. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is instructed to introduce corrective coefficients to the tariff rates (salaries) of employees of budget organizations in the prescribed manner. Republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and heads of budget organizations must ensure the recalculation of employee wages in accordance with the established first-category tariff rate and ETS coefficients, taking into account the corrective coefficients. We remind you that from January 1, 2012, the first-category tariff rate was increased to Br200 thousand, from May 1 - to Br210 thousand, from September 1 - to Br225 thousand.-0-
