On December 26, Minsk / Own correspondent of BELTA/. Tariffs for housing and communal services will increase in Belarus from January 1, 2013. The relevant decision is contained in Resolution No. 1184 of the Council of Ministers of Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian government informed a BELTA correspondent. In Belarus, tariffs for the population for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply purposes will increase from January 1, 2013, by 5% to Br63,150 per 1 Gcal. Previously, the tariff for the population for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply was Br60,140 per 1 Gcal. The document also establishes a tariff for natural gas used in residential buildings and apartments, as well as in garden houses of members of horticultural associations during the heating period, at the rate of Br358.8 per 1 cubic meter, provided that individual gas heating appliances and/or gas water heaters with installed individual gas consumption meters are available. Previously, this tariff was Br341.7 per 1 cubic meter of natural gas. In the absence of individual gas consumption meters and in the presence of individual gas heating appliances, natural gas will cost Br2044 per 1 square meter of total living space per month during the heating period and Br766.5 during the summer period. A cubic meter of natural gas used for heating non-residential premises, excluding premises located in residential buildings with installed individual gas consumption meters, will cost Br2095.1 per 1 cubic meter. Previously, it cost Br1058.1 per 1 cubic meter. The resolution also introduces changes to electricity tariffs. Thus, electricity in residential buildings (apartments) equipped with electric stoves in the prescribed manner, at a single-rate tariff, will cost Br274.4 per 1 kWh (previously Br250.6 per 1 kWh), at differentiated tariffs - Br192.1 per 1 kWh during periods of minimum load from 10:00 PM to 5:00 PM (previously Br175.4) and Br548.8 per 1 kWh during periods of maximum load from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (previously Br501.2). Electricity for heating and hot water supply with a connected equipment capacity of more than 5 kW will increase to Br323 per 1 kWh during periods of minimum load from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM (previously Br295) and to Br969 per 1 kWh during the rest of the day (previously Br885). This resolution comes into force on January 1, 2013.
