A thematic seminar was held at the central district library

Themed seminar "Library Local Lore as a Factor in Enhancing the Cultural Potential of the District.

Themed seminar "Library Local Lore as a Factor in Enhancing the Cultural Potential of the District. Development of Tourist Space" was held at the central district library. Rural librarians participated. They discussed traditional areas of local lore activities and explored new ones. They exchanged experiences and shared their challenges. Librarians from Kamen and Chareyshchyna made presentations. The Kamen Library-Museum of Todor Klyashtorny has developed a literary and local lore route to the small homeland of the famous native poet, the village of Parechcha. Next year, two more routes will be developed: "Yuzef Maroz – Belarusian Michurin-Breeder" at the Bobrovskaya Rural Library and "Sources of Natural Power of the Polsvizh" at the Polsvizhskaya Library. The issue of using information technologies was discussed. The results of the district review-competition of professional skills for the best electronic presentation "Along Familiar Paths I Walk to My Native Village" were summarized. The Veleushchyna, Slobodskaya, and Chareyshchyna libraries won.
