The topic "Belarus - a country of peace and harmony" was discussed at a unified information day with representatives of the sports and tourism sector of the district executive committee, as well as the centralized library system.

The main speaker at the meeting was the head of the district, Mikhail Kiselevich.

“We, Belarusians, are peace-loving people! I am sure that among us, and in the country as a whole, you will hardly find a person who does not know these words. From the very first line of the State Anthem, it becomes clear who we, Belarusians, are,” said Mikhail Leonidovich, opening the meeting.

In his speech, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee noted that a peace-loving foreign policy and the reputation of a friendly, hospitable country are the result of many years of effort aimed at the stable development of Belarusian society.

“We live in a country that not only declares a peace-loving foreign policy in words but also through concrete deeds and facts. Belarus is a country of peace and harmony. It is important to preserve and cherish what we have,” he emphasized.

Traditionally, the communication transitioned into an open dialogue format. Residents of Lepel addressed the head of the district with pressing issues. Road safety, pet ownership, and the possibility of opening a library branch in the new housing development area of Lepel were among the topics raised in the audience.

At the end of the meeting, Mikhail Kiselevich thanked the residents of Lepel for their work and congratulated them on the upcoming holidays.
