The event featured prevention service booths offering first aid training masterclasses, and an exhibition of equipment and gear used by emergency response teams for pupils of Lepel district schools.

The event was also attended by Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; Viktor Azaryonok and Ruslan Shkodin, Members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Galina Zhelanova, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross; as well as representatives of the district authorities.

As part of the Unified Safety Day, participants of the meeting learned about the organisation of work in educational institutions in the Lepel region aimed at ensuring children's safe living.

The activities of the "Kanonir" club, the peace school, the young rescuers-firefighters squad, and the young traffic inspectors – the coordination in these and other areas was demonstrated by the residents of Lepel.

Additionally, in the assembly hall, guests of the celebration welcomed the children and reminded them of the importance of adhering to safety regulations.

Important rules are conveyed through education and creativity. Children from kindergartens and pupils from schools prepared a vibrant concert program for the guests, with the leitmotif being the aspiration to live SAFELY!

The main goal of the Unified Safety Day is to remind everyone that they can protect themselves from tragedy if they know how to act.

LEPEL RESIDENTS, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES, BE VIGILANT, AND OBSERVE SAFETY REGULATIONS!
