Technical inspection of agricultural machinery

29 September, Lepel /Own.inf./. Technical inspection of agricultural machinery owned by private individuals has been completed.

The need for such an event has long been overdue. It is no secret that villagers own quite a lot of various agricultural machinery. It is not always in proper condition. However, they drive on streets and roads, where the concept of traffic safety is not an empty sound. All of them had the necessary set of documents, registration plates, and were in good working order, suitable for operation on the roads of the republic. Therefore, they passed the technical inspection without problems. In addition, four more previously unregistered units of agricultural machinery were presented. However, they had documents confirming the legality of acquisition, so they were registered in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, quite a lot of machinery is owned by villagers without registration: there is a tractor, but no documents for it. It would seem that the machinery is well-maintained and in good working order, but the state technical supervision inspector cannot register it. The owners acquired them in different ways: some bought a decommissioned tractor or combine from a disbanded collective farm back in the 90s, some assembled a helper for their farm from nodes and aggregates. To resolve the situation, in the author's opinion, all private agricultural machinery could be registered based on possession, so-called ex officio, as was done two years ago for scooters. This measure would help to establish order in this area, and to register machinery, nodes, and aggregates. The practice will continue, but in a different form. We will combine the technical inspection of private agricultural machinery and machinery in agricultural organizations. It is no secret that agricultural work is seasonal, starting in the spring. Before the sowing campaign, in March-April, machinery will be inspected, and permits will be issued.
