On December 27, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Open Joint Stock Company "Tekhnolit-Polotsk" will increase the share of innovative products in the total volume of shipped goods to 40% in 2012, the enterprise director Leonid Petrov informed BELTA correspondent.
Intensive work on the development of new product types, carried out at the enterprise throughout the year, allowed increasing their share to 30% by the end of December. Thus, over the past period, the plant has mastered the production of automated milking parlours. The cost of equipment ranges from Br1.5-2 billion, depending on the technical configuration and the size of the dairy herd it is designed for. This year, the plant supplied seven such parlours to the livestock complexes of the Vitebsk region, and plans to supply at least ten more in 2012. The production of cast iron cookware and artistic casting for urban design has also been actively developed.
In 2012, OJSC "Tekhnolit-Polotsk" will continue to increase the share of innovative products. In particular, it is planned to launch the production of new cast iron products, including auger bits, livestock gratings, tent hangars, stove castings (doors for stoves and fireplaces), and to master the production of export-oriented products – malleable cast iron machine parts. Projects for the production of "milk taxi" and "auto-mama" complexes for calf feeding are under consideration. Work is also underway to reduce the share of imported components for milking parlours.
In January-November, the enterprise produced goods worth Br45 billion, or 127% compared to the same period last year (in comparable prices). Exports increased by 5% and amounted to $2.3 million. By the end of the year, the growth rate is expected to be 115%. The energy saving indicator is minus 11.1% against a plan of minus 6.5%. Investments in fixed assets this year reached Br2 billion.
The enterprise was founded in 1927 and was incorporated in 2002. It specialises in the production of grey cast iron products, metalworking products, and automated milking parlours. The average number of employees is about 390 people. -0-
