A car is a source of increased danger. Driving it requires specific theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which can only be acquired by undergoing special training at a driving school and passing qualification exams.
“Unlicensed drivers” are a category of special risk. Some of them, contrary to common sense and the law, having been deprived of their driving licenses for gross violations of the Traffic Regulations, still get behind the wheel. Often, to our deep regret, this happens while intoxicated, which frequently ends in accidents with severe consequences. Every person is free to dispose of their own destiny, but by driving a vehicle without a license, they often determine the fate of another person.
In total, during the past period of the current year, traffic police officers have detained 36 individuals driving vehicles without a driving license in the Lepel district.
The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds: driving a vehicle by a person who does not have a driving license is subject to administrative liability in the form of a fine from 5 to 20 basic units. The same actions committed repeatedly within a year after the imposition of an administrative penalty entail a fine from 20 to 50 basic units or administrative arrest. However, one should not forget that no amount is comparable to human life, which is priceless.
Every time you get behind the wheel, you must remember: the road does not forgive mistakes.
